XPRS 2010 is over i am now level 2 certified and happy despite some damage to the fleet. the XPRS page is updated.
Well, back from XPRS 09, that was amazing. see my XPRS page for more info and picts.
Talk about a gap, i now live in Reno, NV and am preparing for XPRS '09. we will be flying the dragon without the camera hopefully to 16,000 feet.
The march 16th rocket launch was a resounding success! we were unable to gather the required amount to launch the dragon, but we did launch 2 Gs, (77, 80) and around 20 other rockets. special thanks to Rich Fewell, who is including his camera in the project. (he is making one as his own project to be used in the dragon instead of us buying one, the link is here) to get a better range. he also launched 3 rockets, we extend our sympithies to his atlas, which took some serious damage to the escape tower. right now our most exciting event is the monthly rocket launches at Windward Community Collage, the info is on our events page.
the dec. 15th launch was pretty good, we had a large turn out, and i only lost one rocket! although it was one of the new aerroux from my work at the hobby co.
launched norad pro-max on G77-10R for the third time, next launch i might do a G80-10T or a G79-10W.
Jan. 19th i lost two rockets, both of which i had planned on losing, so it went well. i launched the Norad on a G79, and it will be flown next month on a G80, i flew my mach attempt, but we were unable to determine if it had worked or not, but it did vanish.
Feb. 19th i was unable to launch the norad on a G-80. we did fly a few small rockets though! fun little things.
march 15th lanch was a great success! i was able to launch my norad pro-max on my H-, and the flight was perfect, i have successfully gained my level 1. we also almost hit a poor woman with a fiberglass spaceship-1 and another fiberglass rocket of ours almost hit a car when it decided to take a very deep core sample, so we might not be doing very many fiberglass rockets until we figure this out ^..^
