XPRS does not disappoint.
so XPRS 2010 is over, it turns out for my level 2, 4th try was the charm as i attempted it twice last year and twice this year,
the final attempt earning me my cert. for my first attempt (09) i tried to fly an L in the dragon, check out XPRS 09 for picts
of how that turned out. then i tried flying my unpainted NORAD on a J skidmark, the nosecone came off and was never seen
again. this year i flew it on a J340 metalstorm by aerotech and the chute snarled, costing me that attempt. in an act of
desperation i repacked it, epoxied the broken fin back on and flew it on a J350 white lightening, the flight was flawless and
recovery was perfect. we flew the cluster buster as well as the little white rocket called "rawr" and for a good amount of time
i even got to LCO! (thats Launch Control Officer, which means i got to check out and press the button on tond of rockets.)
and while im at it, here is astroboy's mostly successfull flight!
